The regular maintenance of any elevator or lifting machine ensures its proper function continuously. It assists in the prompt diagnosis of malfunctions which might appear during use, and their immediate repair. The lifecycle of the elevator is extended as a result of regular maintenance. The frequency of the maintenance required depends on the building’s common use, i.e. public or apartment buildings require more frequent maintenance, whilst private homes might be on a bi-monthly schedule.
